2009 WESTERN STATES EXTREME MUSTANG MAKEOVER CHAMPION

The Extreme Mustang Makeover was by far Katy’s biggest accomplishment. For the EMM you have 100 days to gentle and train your randomly selected wild Mustang. After the 100 days there is a competition where you compete in a couple areas, conditioning, ground manners and ridden work. The top 10 went to the finals and where asked to perform a 4 minute freestyle to show off the work accomplished with their horse. Katy, won her first and only EMM with a 4 year old mare she called “Wendy”.
